Mario Cortes Lopez, a Dominican-born, Puerto Rico-raised bassist, blends Latin American rhythms with funk and jazz. Picking up the electric bass at 13, he studied at Inter American University and toured internationally with renowned artists like Wisin y Yandel. Now based in Central Florida, he continues to collaborate, perform, and push musical boundaries with The Latin Rundown and other acts.
